Mobile is What They Want and What You Need

Mobile is the dream for your customer. They are out, looking for a bottle to take home. They pull out their cell phone, do a quick search and within seconds, they have found a list of beverage stores to consider. When they find your site, what will they see?

Forbes digital marketing contributor wrote about CRO, conversion rate optimization, “the process of making improvements to your website in order to increase the rate at which site visitors take a desired action”. As a package store owner, your desired action is foot traffic to your store.

Be Responsive

The Forbes blog gives 5 ways to improve a website for 2017 and the first way is implementing responsive design. We hear you—what is responsive design? Give us a minute to explain:

To bring it all together, going back to the Forbes article, “redesigning your website so that it meets the needs of mobile users is key to boosting your conversion rate”. There are enough sites that are optimized for mobile that consumers don’t have to spend the time scrolling across non-optimized sites. More importantly, they won’t spend time on non-responsive sites. Remember that conversion rate? The increase of foot traffic to your store because your site drew them in? If you site doesn’t scale, your conversion rate will drop and you will lose that traffic—and those sales.

By the Numbers

Redesigning your website to meet the need of the mobile user is critical in 2017. Google reports that more than half of all searches come from mobile devices. For beverage stores, the statistics are even more important; in 2016, a report said that 72% of online searches for food and beverage were mobile. If your site isn’t mobile, you could be losing nearly ¾ of your potential business.
